The female body is a wild, powerful, and often misunderstood body of wisdom. When we experience hormonal imbalance, and all the painful symptoms that go along with it, like fatigue, insomnia, hot flashes, cramps, skin breakouts, or digestive issues, it doesn’t matter what age we are - we have the choice to either listen or ignore our reality. The choice we make determines if we start to heal or if we continue to suffer.
Conventional western medicine often tries to suppress our symptoms or solely medicate our way back to balance. Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yoga, and Taoism offer a different approach where our symptoms are seen as helpful messengers reminding us to slow down, tune in, and make changes in our movement patterns, diet and lifestyle.
In this 2-hour workshop, Sally will guide you through a series of yin yoga postures, meditation, and journalling exercises. You’ll learn how to deeply listen to what your body needs and how to redistribute the flow of prana back into your uterus, ovaries, and pelvic bowl.
We’ll explore how cultivating more yin energy (stillness, quietude, and inner calm) is the secret to hormonal balance for women in the West. You’ll leave feeling empowered with simple tools and short practices you can use in your everyday life.
