My yoga journey.

I got my start in the yoga industry back in 2008 working the front desk at Melanie Smith’s Yogaphoria in New Hope, PA. I went on to co-manage Yogaphoria before the studio merged with The Treehouse, where I was the acting director for eight years. In 2019 I opened my own studio, Embrace Yoga, which closed in 2020 due to Covid-19.

I am an E-RYT 200 trained in an alignment based yoga style. I completed my 200 hour teacher training with Karin Eisen in 2014. I completed a 100 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Sally Miller in 2017, In 2019, I became a RPYT after an 85 hour Prenatal Teacher Training with Abigail Boehm. And in 2020 I deepened my love of teaching Restorative Yoga by completing a 20 hour Trauma Sensitive Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Bodywise. I am also a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, YACEP.

I knew I wanted to commit my life to yoga when I heard Seane Corn talk about the shadow, and I always bring the philosophy of embracing all parts of ourselves into my practice and my teaching.

My classes emphasize breathing techniques, alignment, and meditation. I teach a variety of therapeutic and relaxing yoga styles to promote both physical and mental well-being and healing. I welcome all participants regardless of level of experience or body type. Be embraced you just as you are!

I currently offer in person and online classes, workshops, and private yoga sessions at Hometown Yoga in Lambertville, NJ. You can visit the Hometown Yoga schedule HERE.

All of my gentle yoga classes are also available as pre-recorded sessions through my website.

I've worked with Erin and taken many of her classes over the years and I find her to be highly skilled in her teaching!  From the physical structure of the poses to the subtle inner work that accompanies them, Erin helps me to feel safe to explore the full range of myself in each class. Erin does not just teach yoga, she IS yoga.”

— Kristin T.

Erin is not only a knowledgeable yoga instructor, she is a lovely person.
Highly recommend her classes- for all levels.

— Susan D.

“Erin is one of the best yin yoga teachers I know!”

— Amy N.

I took one of Erin’s Yin Yoga classes via zoom a couple years ago, and although I found the holding and breathing of the singular poses a challenge, I loved it and never forgot it. I am currently recovering from a fractured femur and subsequent hip replacement. At seven months out, it is exactly those yin poses that seem to be helping me the most.”

— Gail in Maine

Erin lento is everything you want in a yoga teacher! Her soothing words and light music make the experience wonderful! She always makes sure we are in safe postures so nobody gets injured. She offers recorded practices to buy, that you can watch over and over again. It’s great! Needless to say I love her classes!
